Jimmy Chiang
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest HKDr Jimmy Chiang is Associate Director-General of Invest Hong Kong, the government department responsible for attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Hong Kong.
He joined Invest Hong Kong in August 2003 and was promoted to Head of Tourism and Hospitality in September 2010. He took up the ADG position in April 2015, in which he oversees the Department’s investment promotion strategies in the areas of Business and Professional Services, Consumer Products, Creative Industries, Financial Services, Tourism and Hospitality and Transport and Industrial. Prior to joining Invest Hong Kong, Dr Chiang worked with a Hong Kong-based multinational transportation company in a number of different managerial roles for five years.
Dr Chiang has a doctorate in hotel and tourism management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also has a master's degree in business administration from The University of British Columbia and a bachelor's degree in social sciences from The University of Hong Kong.
